Let’s make it a vibrant town

There’s always one isn’t there, a Grinch who sits back and waits for other people’s efforts to fail.

I am referring to last week’s letter revelling in the fact that due to poor weather the motorcycle event planned for Sunday, July 26, had to be cancelled.

Last year’s event was a great success, attracting thousands of people to Bexhill bringing a welcome boost to the much beleaguered traders in the town, unfortunately the weather is something we cannot plan for in England, and I hope the organisers won’t be too put off by this year’s events. Personally, I am grateful that there are people out there who are trying to make Bexhill an interesting and vibrant place rather than the ghost town that some people would prefer.
