LETTER: Why pay for a parking permit?

editorial image

Here is a point for the readers and the residents of Bexhill who pay the council for a parking permit. I do not have a permit and do not pay the council £30 for the permit.

I drive a car and park it in the area of permit holders.

Who are the permit holders going to get to fine me or to have me removed, as we do not have any traffic wardens and the police are elsewhere?

So why are they paying for a permit which cannot be enforced?
