Promenade is for everyone to enjoy

I am writing in response to the letter of last week regarding our prom.

It has taken many years to overturn the byelaw banning cycling on our promenade.

There was talk of a cycle lane, but of course it didn’t happen.

How about we ban dogs with extending leads, motorised wheelchairs, roller skates, tricycles, scooters and prams?

The answer to the problem is easy... care and consideration!

Perhaps slow down or dismount, our beautiful seafront is there for everybody, young and old. abled and disabled.

May I take this opportunity to say how wonderful the flowers and shrubs are this year, we really are so lucky.
