Thank you for your trust

Last Tuesday ESCC voted to approve the budget for the coming year.

It has been recognised as a difficult decision, because of the need to find savings.

Over the past months, since September all county councillors have been involved in assessing the implications of various cuts to some services.

Over the months I have received many emails and letters, and this has informed me about the views of so many people.

The budget was approved on Tuesday with 30 votes in favour and seven against.

Paul Cortell made an appeal for people in Bexhill to phone me, and the other three Bexhill county councillors, but none of the four of us received any phone call about the matter. I consider it a huge honour that the residents of Bexhill had trust in me, and my colleagues, to make the right decision.

Thank you for your support, and I will continue in my work at county to represent Bexhill to the best of my ability.

Cllr Michael Ensor

East Sussex County Council

Bexhill King Offa Division
