Our MP’s piece In House this week is a reasoned argument for the reducing of tax credit.
However, it clearly lays the blame for the need for tax credit rightly on the employers low wages.
The solution of taking away tax credit instead of applying a penalty to these employers is immoral.
Surely the answer is to tax the profits of these employers to induce them to raise their wages. It’s not rocket science.
Sorry, I forgot the employers of course provide the party’s funding. It is easier to attack the defenceless.
I hope that the unfairness of the tax credit cuts could just trigger the non voting 47 per cent of the population to vote.
After all with them and those who voted for other parties 77 per cent (three out of four people) of the population do not want this government. Only 47 per cent of those who voted want this government so no mandate from the people.
We are the only country in Europe that is ruled by a government that has less than 50 per cent of the consent of the population.
This is democracy? More like a five-year dictatorship.
