Why do they take the risk?

For the past four years, around October the Saxons, and no doubt others in the Normandale area of Bexhill have been plagued by a couple of mindless individuals, who having no regard for property or the joy flowers bring to people, as well as hard work of caring for the plants, appear to get a kick out of cutting back the hydrangea bushes in the Saxons grounds and stealing the stems and heads of the plants.

The last occasions was at 4am on Thursday, October 15, when they were nearly caught by one of the residents, unfortunately they escaped in a small vehicle.

If only they had asked for the heads of the plants they may have been successful.

In the future they will not be so lucky as the bushes are being replaced.

One asks, why and for what reason do they take the risk?
