The BBC have unveiled their broadcast plans for this summer's tournament and they're sure to please football fanatics.

Supporters will be transported to hospitality seats at some of the tournament's biggest games as the BBC utilise cutting-edge VR technology.

Users will be transported to a fully-immersive stadium expeirence through VR headsets or smartphones.

It's a great opportunity to get the full World Cup experience from the comfort of your own home.

It's fairly simple to access this VR content - you'll just need a smartphone or VR headset.

Closer to the tournament, you'll then need to download BBC Sport's VR 2018 World Cup app - which is still to be released.

It will be available on iOS and Android devices, as well as the Gear VR, Oculus Go and PlayStation VR headsets.

Once you've downloaded the app, you'll be able to pick from one of two views at the stadiums.

Matches will be able to viewed as if from a 'luxury private box' or from behind either of the two goals.

Fans will be able to experience a complete stadium environment, taking in the full view of the stadium and match while soaking up the atmosphere.

Is it available for all matches?

The BBC have confirmed that their VR offering will be available for all 33 games that they broadcast during the tournament.

England's group stage games against Tunisia and Panama will both be broadcast on the BBC with VR available.
