Bexhill finish with a flourish

A LAST gasp strike from Dom Bigg saw Bexhill United round off their Sussex Division Three campaign with a 2-1 win at Storrington.

Bigg planted a spectacular diving header into the top corner of the net from an inviting cross by Alex Page to hand United a thoroughly deserved victory.

The match was switched to the Polegrove as Storrington's ground was declared unfit.

Bexhill manager Len Watkins said: "It was excellent. The football was perhaps the best we have played all season. We were so much in control it was unbelievable."

Sam Rimmer fired Bexhill into the lead a minute before half time with a smart finish from a Guy Bentley through ball.

Storrington offered very little until three minutes from time when slack Bexhill marking afforded Bridle the time and space to guide his shot past Neil Cheek.
