Feast of boxing at West Hill show

Twenty-two bouts - 11 junior and 11 senior - have been matched and all available West Hill boxers are due to be in action at the Hollington Community Centre.

A lot of people are looking forward to seeing Barry Farthing, who made a splendid start to his boxing career by stopping his opponent in the second round on a club show hosted by Whitehawk ABC on November 18.

Fellow senior Barry Buchanan, pictured, is due to be in action for the first time in a while, and Kyle Logan has won twice in the last month and always seems to perform well on West Hill shows.

Connor Sime will be confident on the back of his barnstorming stoppage victory at a club show in Horsham on November 19, while Rhys Verlander will be gunning for revenge in a return bout.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and the boxing will start at 8pm. Tickets are priced at £10 adults, £5 under-16s and concessions. There will also be a bar, refreshments, snackwagon and Christmas raffle.
