The event will be your chance to ask ‘What was Tyson really like?’, ‘How did it feel to go the distance with Lennox Lewis?’ and ‘What is the secret to having one of the toughest jaws in heavyweight boxing?’

Egan was a winner of the Golden Gloves award while living in New York and more recently has entered the Hollywood movie scene so he has a lifetime of stories to tell.

St Leonards is a place close to Egan’s heart as he often came down to a penthouse in Marine Court some years ago to share his life stories with the co-author of his biography, the late Ranald Graham.

Graham was a writer, director and producer, best known for his writing work on the British television series The Sweeney, The Professionals, and Dempsey and Makepeace.

His book ‘The Toughest White Man on the Planet’ took the boxing world by storm and Tyson flew in to accompany Egan on its European launch. Former boxing stars from across the country came to congratulate and celebrate with Egan.
