There was a massive turnout for the funeral of popular sporting all-rounder Tyrone Wildman on Tuesday.

Scores of people packed into Hastings Crematorium to pay their respects to a man who touched the lives of so many with his warm personality and ever-present smile.

Tributes were read by former Sidley Cricket Club captain Simon Reynolds and ex-Hastings Priory CC skipper Jason Finch, emphasising not only Tyrone’s ability but also his friendly nature.

Tyrone, who excelled in a number of fields but notably bodybuilding and cricket, died suddenly on Saturday December 18 aged 59.
