Although United are second in Ryman Football League Division One South and Casuals are rooted to the foot of the table, U’s boss John Maggs is warning that there are no easy games.

He said: “There are no easy games. It doesn’t matter the standard of the league; everyone wants to roll Hastings over. We’re in the top two and everyone wants to beat us. I’m expecting a tough game at Corinthian Casuals.

“As far as we’re concerned, we’re going along quite nicely. If we haven’t been at our best and still won, that’s good for us. We will take that all day long.”

Tom Vickers is now available after completing his move from Lewes. Vickers is due to play for United’s under-21s away to Crawley Down Gatwick tonight (Thursday) along with Bruno Pacheco, a left-back with good pedigree who was an unused substitute against Sittingbourne on Monday night, and Rodrigo Branco.
