A brace of goals from Gordon Cuddington and Mike Booth, and one from Curtis Coombes gave Westfield a 5-2 win away to fellow Sussex County Football League Division Two mid-table side AFC Uckfield.

Westfield travelled to The Oaks having lost four of their last five games, but goals from Cuddington and Booth put them 2-0 up in the first half-hour and firmly on course for a second successive midweek away victory.

The same two players struck again after the break to make it 4-0 before Howard Davey pulled one back. A first senior goal of the season for Coombes completed Westfield’s tally and Callum Legate nabbed a consolation for an Uckfield side which won 2-1 in October’s reverse fixture.
