Hastings friendly changes

The U’s, who kick-off proceedings with their annual trip to Sussex County League neighbours Westfield on Saturday July 14, will visit Sevenoaks Town four days later.

The following midweek they travel to Hythe Town in a change from the scheduled friendly away to Burgess Hill Town.

Hastings round-off their preparations by hosting Eastbourne Town the Saturday before the season proper gets under way.

Hastings Utd pre-season friendlies: Saturday July 14 Westfield (a) 3pm, Tuesday July 17 Sevenoaks Town 7.45pm, Saturday 21 Brighton & Hove Albion (h) 3pm, Tuesday July 24 Hythe Town (a) 7.45pm, Saturday July 28 Bexhill Utd (h) 12noon & Little Common (h) 3pm, Saturday August 4 Three Bridges (a) 3pm, Tuesday August 7 Bromley (h) 7.45pm, Saturday August 11 Eastbourne Town (h) 3pm.

Tickets for the prestigious game against Gus Poyet’s Brighton & Hove Albion’s Championship squad can be purchased now.

They are priced at £10 for adults and £3 for under-18s. A family ticket (two adults and two under-18s) costs £22 and is only available in advance.

The match on Saturday July 21 (kick-off 3pm) will be the first time in many years that Sussex’s biggest club has paid a visit to The Pilot Field.
