United’s scheduled visit from Chatham Town in the Ryman U21 League South Division has been called-off, as has the under-18s’ trip to Three Bridges in the Ryman Youth League South Division.

Regarding the under-21 match, club groundsman Simon Rudkins wrote on social media site Twitter: “Although the pitch is currently playable given the forecast for tonight I was not confident the match would get played to its conclusion and the last thing we want is to give people a wasted journey especially those from North Kent. First p-p of the season #gutted”

The double postponement means that the next United action will see the first team visit Worthing in Ryman Division One South on Saturday before hosting Ramsgate next Monday night.
