On a public park, United were able to enjoy the support of fans for the first time since the resumption of football.

Izzy Payne and Faye Williams caused all sorts of havoc. Williams was involved in a moment of controversy which saw her sent to the sin bin – a new feature at this level. After being pulled up for a foul throw, Williams made her feelings about the decision clear and was sin-binned.

Number two came from skipper Rebecca Relf after a cross from Molly Hill.

In the second half, the Us took total control.

The third was a moment of pure genius from Payne, who received the ball from Holly Carter and released a rocket into the top corner, showing what the Us will miss upon her departure to Arizona.

There were two Georgia Tibble goals, including a brilliant finish from a tight angle, and a Molly Hill turn and finish from close range to make it 6-0.
