Worrall has extended his stay at The Pilot Field and is determined to help United make up for the disappointment of two abandoned seasons by playing his part in a successful bid for promotion to the Isthmian premier division.

Worrall said: “When Aggy asked me to sign on again for this season I just couldn’t say no.

“I believe it will be third time lucky for us in getting the promotion we deserve and I cannot wait to get back into the changing room with the boys and be back playing at The Pilot Field in front of a packed crowd! COYU.”

Manager Chris Agutter said: “Ry, alongside Kenny, was our player of the year last season.

“We challenged him in the summer to become our midfield leader, our midfield metronome, which he did more and more.

“Ry is key to this team’s continued success so to tie him down for the upcoming season is fantastic news.”

Club CEO Billy Wood said: “Ryan gave me a great start here at the football club with a goal versus Sevenoaks Town, one that was more than enough to be a goal of the season winner.

“Since that moment it’s been brilliant to see Ry’s prominence in our midfield flourish and he really was such a vital player last season. I have no doubts he will be as important as he has been to this point.”
