Two more ADA East Sussex Football League cup finals took place at Little Common FC on Bank Holiday Monday.

Division One title hopefuls Sedlescombe Rangers lifted the Wisdens Sports Challenge Cup after a 3-0 success against Division Two champions Little Chelsea.

Rhys Warren opened the scoring in the 30th minute and Luke Shand doubled Sedlescombe’s lead from the penalty spot three minutes later. The match was put beyond Little Chelsea in the second half when Rhys Warren squeezed the ball home from a tight angle after rounding the goalkeeper.

Peche Hill Select II then clinched the ADA Challenge Cup after a goal in each half from Liam Baker defeated fellow Division Four high-flyers Bexhill-On-Sea 2-0.

The first came in the 28th minute when Harry Cane cut the ball back for Baker to fire home and the second came a minute from time following Shane Bartram’s mazy run. Peche Hill’s team included father and son Heath and Bradley West, three 16-year-olds and 50-year-old Andy Murphy.
