The Kiln Brow surface will be checked at midday to see if the Ryman Football League Division One South fixture can go ahead following rain last night and this morning.

Both teams will be hoping it does get the green light because United still have 17 league matches to play before the season’s end on Saturday April 26 and Redhill have 19 remaining.

Fifth-placed United will be eager to return to winning ways following their 4-0 loss at home to Guernsey on Saturday against a 19th-placed Redhill side which has lost its last four outings and won just once since November 23.

The weather is forecast to brighten up as the day goes on. Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm.

Rye United are also due to be in action tonight away to runaway Sussex County Football League Division One leaders East Preston. Return to this website later to find out if the games are on or off.

The under-21s of Hastings, meanwhile, pulled off a very good 2-0 win at home to second-placed Leatherhead in the Ryman U21 League South Division last night thanks to goals from Josh Oyinsan and Jacob Shelton.
