Bexhill United chairman Bill Harrison says there have been some ‘really promising’ applications for the football club’s managerial position.
Speaking this morning (Thursday), Harrison said he hopes to have someone in place by the end of next week.
He said: “There’s been one or two really promising ones. We will probably be speaking to someone in the early part of next week and if he agrees to come I think it will be an excellent coup for the club. Hopefully we’ll have it wrapped up by this time next week.”
The vacancy has arisen because previous boss Marc Munday stepped down at the end of the 2015/16 season, the weekend before last. Bexhill finished fourth-from-bottom in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One.
