Today’s matches involving Hastings United, Bexhill United and Little Common have all got the green light, although Westfield’s game away to Ifield Galaxy at intermediate level has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Hastings are at home to Tooting & Mitcham United in Ryman Football League Division One South, hoping to pick up three more points in their pursuit of a play-off place. Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 3pm.

Bexhill are making the long trip to Selsey for a 2pm kick-off in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One, while in the same division, Little Common will take on Sidlesham in a home game to be played on the 3G pitch at Worthing FC (kick-off 3pm).

It will be the first time Common have played a league fixture since the festive derby away to Bexhill on December 28 and the first time they have played on a Saturday since December 19.

Some of the day’s Macron East Sussex Football League programme has been affected, but quite a few fixtures are on course to be played. For the full list, visit http://www.esfl.org.uk/pages/fixturesandresults.html

In today’s other local sport, Hastings & Bexhill Rugby Club will host Southwark Lancers (kick-off 2.30pm) and South Saxons will continue their Sussex Open Hockey League Division One title bid with a visit from St Francis (push-back 1.30pm).
