When lockdown stopped football in its tracks, the first team were top of the ESFL premier division with seven wins out of seven and were favourites to top the league had the season reached its conclusion. However, that disappointment pales into insignificance when measured against the distressing loss of life and the life-changing alterations that the virus has brought with it.

The club’s thoughts are with everyone affected.

For the long term benefit of the community, Battle Town are working in partnership with Battle Town Council and the Battle Health Pathway project to provide Battle recreation ground with a new pavilion, cycle pathway and skills area, all of which will benefit and promote the health and well-being of locals.
