United go into the game smarting from a shock 1-0 defeat away to Sussex Division Two side Westfield on Saturday. James Gatcum scored the only goal four minutes from time.

Their two warm-up games prior to that ended in a 9-0 loss to an Arsenal XI and 2-0 reverse at the hands of Dover Athletic so they will also be out to end their scoring drought.

Elsewhere tonight, Rye United will begin their friendlies away to New Romney (kick-off 6.30pm), Westfield are away to East Grinstead Town (kick-off 7.30pm) and Bexhill United are at Banstead Athletic (kick-off 7.30pm).
