United’s top scorer attracts approach

Adams netted his 10th goal of the campaign and 100th for the club in the 1-0 victory at home to Ramsgate on Monday, last week, and manager Nigel Kane expects him to stay.

United are 17th in Ryman Football League Division One South - eight points and six places above second-bottom Redhill having played four more matches.

The Hastings United Supporters’ Club, meanwhile, is holding a quiz night tonight (Friday) in The Pilot Field function room.

The quiz is open to teams of four at £2.50 per person and quizzers are asked to arrive for 7.30pm. The prize for the winners is four bottles of wine and there will also be a raffle.
