Leatherhead are fourth in Ryman Football League Division One South at present, three points and one place behind United having played the same number of matches.

United will go into the game on a high having completed a notable early season double over leaders Walton Casuals at the weekend and another win tonight would move them within two points of the summit with a game in hand.

Leatherhead will also be in high spirits after scoring an added time winner against Binfield in the FA Cup on Saturday. That goal means tonight’s game goes ahead because it would have been postponed to make way for a replay. Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 7.45pm.

The contest will be United’s first home fixture in the league since Bank Holiday Monday in August. They’ve won all three of their home league matches so far, as well as recording four victories and a draw in seven away encounters.

United’s under-18 side will also be in action tonight away to Burgess Hill Town in the Ryman Youth League South Division. That game will kick-off at 7.30pm.
