Marc Munday was pleased his Bexhill United team had ‘stopped the rot’, but felt it deserved better in Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw at home to Langney Wanderers.
Bexhill manager Munday said: “Before the game I would’ve been happy to stop the rot and get a point against a side I see pushing quite high in the league, but how the game panned out I feel a bit disappointed we didn’t come away with the three points.
“I think we were good value for money for the win today. They’ve got a couple of goals probably against the run of play, but most of the chances and most of the football has come from us to be fair.
“We’ve had four games and we’ve just picked up one point. It’s been so disappointing because on the balance of play I really feel that 10 points would’ve been our just deserts really, if not 12 points.
“We’ve got a nice mixture of youth and experience in there so things are looking good for the future. I’m pleased with how we’re shaping up.”
