The village club opened up a 2-0 first half lead en route to a 3-2 victory away to Wick in Sussex County Football League Division Two. It was the second time this season that Westfield have beaten Wick 3-2 because that was also how it ended in September’s reverse fixture.

Elsewhere, however, it was bad news for the area’s senior clubs today. Sidley United lost 2-0 away to Dorking Wanderers in an important game towards the foot of Sussex Division One with both goals coming during the first half. It was the opposite scoreline to the previous meeting between the clubs in November.
