Westies hit five but Bexhill are beaten

Westfield chalked up their first win since the start of December with a 5-3 victory at Oakwood on Saturday.

Mike Booth bagged a hat-trick, and there was one apiece for Gordon Cuddington and Danny Woodley as Westfield saw off second-bottom opposition in Sussex County Football League Division Two.

Bexhill United experienced contrasting fortunes, however, as they were beaten 4-0 away to Midhurst & Easebourne in the same division. Lewis Hamilton scored all four goals as the Pirates suffered a third successive defeat.
