Jimmy's perfect dozen

JIMMY Robertson won all 12 of his frames on his England debut in the home internationals at Pontins in Prestatyn, Wales.

In his first match the 15-year-old O Sullivans and Q-Balls junior won 3-0 against the Isle of Man, followed by victory over Connor McWilliams of Northern Ireland with a joint tournament high break of 80.

He then defeated Republic of Ireland s Damian Shore before taking his turn to sit out.

Without his deadly cue skills, Robertson s team-mates suffered their first defeat in six years, losing 5-4 to Scotland.

England still managed to lift the trophy for the sixth year running with Jimmy claiming another 3-0 win over Welshman Ricky Jones.

Jimmy also took part in the Pontins Open and the UK junior Star of the Future competition.

In the Pontins event, he beat Joe McGrath, England senior Martin Quinney (including a 106 break) before losing to Anish Beyhro, but made the Star of Future final.

Despite losing to England team-mate Ben Woolaston, Jimmy earned a place in the last 16 of the British Junior Open.
