Golf talent Colton Alleyne-Davis received a prestigious prize at the PGA in England (South) Awards Dinner.
Alleyne-Davis, from the Sedlescombe Golf Club-based James Andrews School of Golf, won the PGA in England (South) Assistant of the Year award at the Wentworth Club.
The Hastings-based player finished in the top 25 of the Regional Order of Merit, came second in the Longball PGA South Assistants Order of Merit, won three county events and the Sussex PGA Order of Merit for 2015 - all this while passing his year one trainee exams in April with merit.
Alleyne-Davis, who has also worked hard to support local juniors in their own stages of golf development, is very honoured to have won the award and plans to enter the European Tour Qualifying School in 2016.
He wished to thank N. Alleyne Carpenters, Eco-Rend, Dynamic Scaffolding, Cater-Air and Sedlescombe GC/James Andrews School of Golf for their support, as well as coach Ben Skelton.
