HY Runners were again out in force with 9 athletes out on the hilly course. The first two runners over the line, well under the hour mark in first and second position were both HY athletes - Gary Foster 55.48 and David Ervine 58.39. Third female over the line was Stacey Clusker in 1.07.03.

Gary Foster says “It went well, its great to be back racing after 6 months with an injury. It’s a tough and challenging course”. Gary would have liked to get under the 55minute mark, but acknowledges he is not race fit. Stacey Clusker’s race didn’t go to plan, as she battled a stitch for 4 miles of the course. Her PB over that distance is 1.02.37 – which would have easily placed her in first position, however the top two spots went to Brighton Phoenix athletes.
