“I am extremely honoured to have had such a successful rookie year in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and to my surprise it didn’t go unnoticed,” said the East Sussex racer, speaking as he collected his championship trophies from the impressive Tunbridge Porsche Centre.

“I was elated to be crowned ‘Sacred Driver of the year’.

“I am very grateful for this award and obviously for my sponsors Lining Division, MT Drains, Proceed Group, Trenchline Utilities and my family for their support this year!”

Competing against a strong field of newcomers in another ultra competitive year for the championship, Martin was also runner-up in the rookie category in 2020.

The 17-year-old racer is hoping to announce his 2021 racing plans soon.
