Pebsham retain super darts title

The East Division champions, who also claimed the overall crown last year, brushed aside West Division winners Bevendean Reds 5-1 in the best-of-nine league championship play-off on Wednesday, last week.

Wins for Adrian Gray, Mick Evans, Mark Greenaway, Richard Elms and Shayne Burgess in Worthing ensured the trophy would remain in Seabourne Road for another year.

The Pebsham arrowmen, who are sponsored by Dick and Rona at the Pebsham Club and Gas Fire Company UK (gfcuk.com) in Bexhill Road, will go forth to represent Sussex in the Champions' Cup next August.

The triumphant squad was completed by Mark Card, Keith Luck, Steve Barraclough, Darren Dixon, Simon Smith and Adrian Boyle.
