Saxons inflict double figure drubbing

South Saxons dished out another thrashing on Saturday with a 10-1 victory away to Eastbourne III.

Saxons took a two-goal lead in the opening 10 minutes and from then on the outcome of this South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One derby was never in doubt.

The visitors went on to lead 5-0 at half time, and although Eastbourne pulled one back during a strong start to the second half, Saxons went on to double their tally with some excellent flowing hockey.
