Stage set for Bodiam Triathlon
The inaugural Bodiam Castle Sprint Triathlon will take place tomorrow (Sunday).
A fantastic venue for a triathlon, the 500m swim will be held around the castle moat before the 23km bike route will take competitors around the picturesque country roads through Staplecross, Northiam and Sandhurst.
The final leg is an off-road 6km run with the finish alongside the River Rother. With a barbecue planned alongside the HQ marquees, it promises to be a great day out for all the family.
More information is available at www.velocity-events.co.uk according to which there are nearly 200 entries. The first wave will head off at 7.30am.
