Tense final on the cards

SIDLEY United joint boss Peter Heritage expects a close game in the RUR Cup final against experienced Southwick on Tuesday March 11.

The teams have enjoyed a win each against one another in the league and Heritage believes this is an indication of how the game, to be played at Lancing, is likely to pan out.

He said: "It's going to be tough. I don't see any classic game. It's really going to be nip and tuck. It's possibly going to be decided by one goal."

United's cause has been dealt a blow by the news that semi-final shoot-out hero Matt Dadswell is unavailable. Owen Ball (hamstring) is a major doubt but Shae Spreafico (calf) hopes to be fit. Sidley are without a fixture on Saturday.
