Bexhill’s Music’s Not Dead is holding another of its free entry live in-store gigs with Dreaming Spires on Friday March 6 from 6pm.
The band - launching new album Searching For The Supertruth - is led by singing brothers Robin and Joe Bennett, accomplished musicians as well as founders of acclaimed festivals - Wood & Truck, a label and even a record store. They have played with Goldrush and Danny & The Champs, and collaberated with the likes of Gary Louris and Saint Etienne.
From their earliest incarnation as a band called Whispering Bob, the brothers have straddled a line between the influence of roots music, classic 60s pop and indie rock, always anchored by their distinctive harmonies in the tradition of The Everly Brothers, The Beatles and The Byrds.
