Choir to sing festive songs at Battle

Following the success of a sell-out Summer Concert Battle will be welcoming back the award winning ladies choir Cantabile for a special seasonal event on Friday December 12

Led by Molly Townson ‘A Celebration of Christmas’ will feature contemporary and traditional songs, by choir members from the Battle and Hastings area, in the comfortable setting of the Emmanuel Centre, home to Battle Methodist Church.

The Concert tickets include mulled punch and mince pies in the interval. There will also be a raffle.

The Concert begins at 7pm and there is free parking for 50 cars plus dedicated disabled spaces.

Tickets are £6 each in advance or £8 on the door. Advance tickets can be purchased from Cook in Mount Street and Spoiled Rotten on the Abbey Green in the town. Seats can also be reserved by telephone.

The Emmanuel Centre is rapidly achieving its objective of being a thriving community resource.

From its opening in April the Centre has hosted a range of events including conferences, concerts and even filming. Regular weekly activities include art, fitness, quilting and parent and toddler groups.

The Emmanuel Centre, home to Battle Methodist Church, is located in Harrier Lane signposted from Marley Lane in Battle.
