New comedy variety night comes to St Mary in the Castle on April 15 featuring the unusual, the bizarre and the hilarious followed by a “working class disco.”
Introducing Winners of Baghdads Got Talent, the musical clown Alfie Ordinary, dark comedy tricksters Griffin and Jones and the brilliantly hilarious Amir Khoshsokhan, this show will be ably compered by veteran Gareth Berliner with a Hastings special guest. Expect some eccentricity, a clown on a piano, tricks, ridiculous humour and “a shedload of laughs.”
The acts include Alfie Ordinary - but there’s nothing ordinary about this kid, self-described as a cabaret clown and drag prince. He has a dog. He likes Eastenders. He’s plays the piano, is very funny and a bit naughty.
Griffin and Jones: Comedy tricksters and comedians, tricking up a storm with ropes, razors and humorously dark magic.
Duo Bogof: Still working together long after their divorce, armed with a trusty camera the Duo Bogof weave an illusion of theatrics, split-second timing and cinematic loop the loop whilst just about maintaining a civil working relationship post their divorce.
Tickets £10 early birds and £12 after the birds have flown. Doors 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.
Working class disco after the spectacle till midnight. Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/trash-club-comedy-night-tickets-22264981158
