Hide AdChristine Field, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Public Protection, said: “One in six properties in the county is at risk of flooding so it is vitally important that people know how to defend their families and homes.
“Our coastline is low-lying and many of our towns and villages are vulnerable to flooding from the sea and rivers as well as after heavy rainfall.
“I urge everyone in West Sussex to attend the fairs to find out what help is available – while we will also be encouraging people to sign-up for free flood warning services.”
The event runs from 2.00pm until 6.30pm
