Marines will march to Littlehampton again
This event’s organisers from the Littlehampton Town Council have exclusively revealed what the Marines – who were last year granted the freedom of the town – have in store for Saturday’s celebration (June 28), on The Green.
They will be holding their own stand packed with military tech, including a heavily-armed Land Rover, bristling with machine guns, as well as a static display of weapons and equipment used by the Navy’s elite soldiers.

The Marines’ inclusion in the celebration will make this year’s event one of the most action-packed yet.
Already listed for inclusion is everything from the daredevil Trig Aerobatic Team, with their breathtaking display of close formation flying, to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire that will be flying over the town.
There will also be a range of other military attractions on the ground, from live displays and stalls, to military vehicles.
