LETTER: Measures to avoid patient transfers

It is good to read that under new plans Horsham Hospital will be upgraded.

With these extra services plus those already given by Park Surgery, it just leaves the new surgery planned for Broadbridge Heath to supply the remainder, perhaps with more scanners and blood test facilities.

That would mean a large area is covered avoiding visits to larger hospitals.

The 25,000 patients could remain in their present surgeries.

Perhaps the Orchard Surgery could expand into the library, as has been suggested.

Future technology will reduce the book space in the library in time.
