A sheep was rescued from a bog in Pulborough yesterday (Wednesday November 19).

Firefighters were called to the boggy area off Mill Road at around 9.45am.

The sheep was up to its neck in mud.

The emergency service rescued the animal using an inflatable rescue path and dry suits.
