LETTER: Thank you for interesting talk

On behalf of the Golden Marigold Club, may I thank The Bexhill Classic Cycle Group for giving our members such an entertaining talk.

The Golden Marigold Club was started 18 months ago, to give anyone who was unable to get out to meet people, the ability to do so. We now have charity status.

Our members are picked up from home and brought in to Parkhurst Hall on Monday mornings, where they have coffee or tea and biscuits.

Some like to play games, chat, do puzzles, play cards or just enjoy the company of others.

We serve a two-course home cooked lunch and in the afternoon, they have tea and homemade cake. If we have a birthday, then a special cake is made.

We try to provide as much outside entertainment as our funds dIctate. This could be an outing for lunch or - like yourselves - entertainment coming in.

Once again, very many thanks for a very interesting morning.
