Quite a few generations of refuse collections from all the households in Hastings have produced this feature and now there are many more people in the borough producing even more rubbish every week.

There has been some negative publicity recently about missed bin collections but when you see those large container vehicles reversing down roads, driving through narrow roads where cars are parked [legally?] both sides and incurring the wroth of impatient motorists and pedestrians it is quite remarkable for this service to be carried out weekly by all those cheerful teams.

There are some awful areas of Hastings where litter is just left for years where people are too tired to put it in a bin, and this highlights what an important service these collections are.

I would like recognise and say a big thank you along with many others, I am sure to express recognition for this service that takes place week in week out.
