Bexhill and District Probus Club
BEXHILL and District Probus met twice last month, firstly on Thursday, October 14 for its autumn lunch at the Cooden Beach Hotel, where members enjoyed a carvery, and then on Thursday, October 28 for the usual meeting.
Our speaker this time was Chris McCooey, talking of Rogues, Rascals and Rebels. Chris chose three Sussex people to talk about and kept us enthralled for well over an hour with his observations on Dr John Bodkin Adams, Archibald Stanley Belaney (Grey Owl) and Cynthia Payne. Those unable to attend missed a treat.
