Bexhill Photographic Club

BEXHILL Photographic Club held its first, digitally-projected image competition, thanks entirely to a Lottery grant.

It was sandwiched between the Kent County Ross Cup (for prints) on November 22 and the Sussex County Federation Slide Competition on November 30.

Bexhill finished a creditable 11th in the Ross Cup, one point behind Battle Club but a point ahead of Eastbourne Club.

The results of the Sussex Federation Slide Competition at Hailsham last Sunday (probably the last slide competition at county level), the winners were Rye Club scoring 92/100.

Bexhill were just five points behind in second place (our best placing for many years). Well done to all the photographers Ray Noble, Paul Hutchings, Norman King and top-score Brian Reeve with 20 points for his superb capture of a Blue Damselfly. Very well done Brian.

The next meeting will be our Christmas Social on December 11. Further information and images can be seen on the website www.bexhillphotoclub.co.uk or call Ray Barry, secretary, on Bexhill 216297.
