Crafts R Us and Crafts 4 U

HAPPY New Year to all members. I hope you will all agree that 2008 was a very successful year for both of our clubs.

We enjoyed seeing many new talents from our members and also the committee, not forgetting the demo by Jenny from 'The Craft Den'.

It is always good to have a demonstration of something we have not seen before, or seen but not known how to do.

We have had several coach trips this year including two trips to Hobbycraft & Nottcutts Garden Centre, including a trip to Farnborough for the Make It show.

Our next meeting was on January 15 by which time fees for this year's trip to Farnborough needed to have been paid. (Unfortunately this report was unable to be included in last week's Observer so contact Irene the chairman if you have missed the deadline).

In February we return to the usual meeting date of the first Thursday of the month at St Martha's Hall, Little Common.
