WE had a somewhat curtailed meeting on Tuesday, due to our speaker being baffled by the numerous roadworks in the area, and thus failing to find our venue.
However, all was not lost, for it gave an opportunity for several of our members to talk to us, with reminiscences of their working days, or with various humorous tales not heard before.
We finished a little early, but look forward to next week's meeting, when our speaker will talk, and show slides of "Wildlife through the seasons". Why not come and join us '“ we meet every Tuesday afternoon from 2.15-4pm.. Doors open at 1.45 pm. No subscription or joining fee '“ but come early - we nearly ran out of chairs this afternoon.
