Les Dernieres Trouvères
An evening of medieval music awaits the audience at St Clements Church, Hastings Old town, on Friday, December 6, when Les Derniers Trouvères make a special appearance.
The name translates as ‘the last troubadours’ and hailing from France, they are a group of medieval musicians recreating the styles of the troubadours that would have performed in the court across Europe.
At Jack-in-the-Green two years ago they played to a full and enthusiastic house.

Hide AdUpon hearing they were doing a short tour of the UK the Jack-in-the-Green committee decided to put them on as a Jack-in-the-Green ‘extra’.
The concert at St Clements next Friday starts at 8pm, and tickets are £7 on the door.
